The Yuba River Club previously known as Yuba Recreation Inc. primarily a fishing club located along the Yuba River was opened around 1990 by the DeSantis family, the club was started on an idea of providing rough camping with access to pond and river fishing to families and fisherman in the local community. I joined the club in 2000 and loved the location privacy, beauty, nature and epic Rainbow trout fishing along the Yuba. In 2015 the club was closed and then put up for sale in 2019. I was so excited to have the opportunity to purchase this gorgeous piece of property and restart the club with more amenities to its members and a future lodge over looking the Yuba. Unfortunately the floodwaters of 2017 washed away a portion of the road leading down to the riverbank where access to take out drift boats was used on an unimproved gravel bar. We are in the process of obtaining permits to regrade access for boat take out and obtain a USE Permit for the camp ground.
